Emily Herivel is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University where she studied both vocal and instrumental music and music education, and majored in Vocal Performance. She has been active in music her entire life, participating in choir, band, jazz band, orchestra, pit orchestra, chamber ensembles for voice and brass, and as both a vocal and instrumental soloist. In recent years, Emily has performed as a soloist and ensemble member with Choral Arts Northwest, The Dickens Carolers, Seattle Women’s Jazz Orchestra, City Opera Ballet (Bellevue), Greenwood Concert Band, Trinity Lutheran Brass, and the Epiphany Choir. Emily also directs the Choristers in Training at Epiphany Parish Seattle. She has been teaching music professionally since 2006.
